English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

CRICOS Course Code: 075793G

Course Overview

The focus of an EAP course is developing the skills areas in English that the student will require when studying alongside native speakers in mainstream course areas. However, students entering the EAP course at the lower level will not necessarily have access to the language base that makes use of these skills a possibility. For this reason, the balance of the EAP course will move systematically from a language focus to skills focus as the student progresses through the levels from EAP1 to EAP 2.

Admission may be made to the following:

  • VET Certificate course
